Accomplishments on the Board
Natalie Mash has been working hard on our local board to meet the needs of our students and the community. The past several months she has been a part of major decisions that our local board has made to move our community forward. She has worked on the following:
MLO spending. Natalie has helped make decisions that have improved safety and security in the schools, returned bus routes and purchase new buses, and updated technology in classrooms district wide (including charters).
Creating a new two-year contract. While on the board, Natalie and the rest of the board approved a two-year contract for our local educators. This contract was created in conjunction with GEA, and improved pay for our teachers by addressing the frozen step.
Implementation of full-day kindergarten. With Natalie, the board approved full-day kindergarten to help improve education for our students.
Community and district engagement. Natalie has toured several school in our District and attended many district events. She was a table sponsor for The Success Foundation Breakfast; she attended the naming of the Ann K. Heiman gymnasium; and she has attended numerous plays, graduations, and awards ceremonies. Natalie also attended the Colorado Association of School Boards Delegate Assembly.
